The practice was formed in 1984 by two architects educated at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff under the auspices of Professor Dewi Prys-Thomas. Their decision was formed out of a common desire to promulgate indigenous architecture locally and nationally, whilst promoting and extending the use of contemporary materials and technology.
